Red and Rose Gold are All the Rage
One news outlet recently reported that reddish gold is the latest "it" color for making gold jewelry. As with all fashion forecasting, hot colors come and go in and out of style and to be honest, no one really knows why. Whatever the case, colors go in and out of fashion, but the value of gold itself does not come into question.
Rose and red gold are not new, although these types of gold were recently pronounced to be a "new" trend in jewelry. Not only is reddish gold the thing to have now, combining gold colors is popular as well. Jewelry that combines white and yellow gold or brings together rose and red gold is also all the rage. Rose gold is not only a must-have for gold jewelry such as gold earrings, gold necklaces and gold bracelets, this kind of gold is also sought after as a finish for gold watches.
Funny, I seem to remember when I was young that tri-color gold (a combination of three different colors of gold) was very popular as well. And that was quite a few years ago. But as they say, everything old is new again.
If you are looking to sell gold, however, you do not have to worry about its color.
